Cliffs Zooms Past Zoo In Visitor Numbers

The Cliffs of Moher is increasing in popularity, and moving up the table in terms of Ireland's most visited tourist attractions.

One-million-and-eighty-thousand people visited the North Clare landmark last year, a new record number which was up 12.5% on 2013.

It has now emerged, though, that this number has seen it overtake Dublin Zoo to become the country's second most popular tourist attraction.

It's believed to be the first time the Cliffs has been ranked so highly.
