Over €26 million has been announced for social housing in Clare.
The new Build, Buying & Leasing Programme aims to cut the county's social housing waiting list by around a quarter by 2017.

A total of 529 homes are to be built or bought in Ennis, Feakle, Quilty and Kilrush and the government claims the move will lead to the creation of approximately 209 jobs.
In all, €1.5 billion is being invested in housing natiowide.
