A new survey shows one in three people say the ban on the sale of alcohol on Good Friday should be lifted.
According to research by Ignite, 49 per-cent of 45-to-54 year olds agree with an outright ban.

A similar poll on Clare FM's website shows listener to this station are pre-dominantly in favour of keeping the ban.
59 per cent of the over 200 people who have taken part want the law to stay while 41 per cent would like to see it change.
