Clare County Council has come under fire after public toilets were closed in Doolin this past bank holiday weekend.
The public facility was shut even though the long weekend had drawn large crowds to the North Clare tourist hotspot, and even though weather forecasts had predicted the fine weather of recent days.

Clare FM has sought comment from the County Council, and is awaiting an answer.
