Bus Services from Ennis to West Clare are being reviewed to assess whether they can be co-ordinated with local train times.
The issue has led to recent protests by frustrated commuters from Kilrush and Kilkee who can't connect their bus journeys with local train services as trains depart Ennis ten minutes before buses are scheduled to arrive.

Bus Eireann representatives faced questions on the issue in a meeting with Ennis Councillors this week, explaining their timetables are based on linking bus services together, rather than with trains.
Regional Manager for the South West Miriam Flynn says the problems facing West Clare passengers are being looked at by the National Transport Authority.
