Campaigners who have battled for a review of public transport timetables between Ennis and West Clare are optimistic that their campaign will be successful.
The National Transport Authority is reviewing bus service timetables, after recent protests by frustrated commuters from Kilrush and Kilkee who can't connect their bus journeys with local train services.

Trains currently depart Ennis ten minutes before buses are scheduled to arrive but Siobhan O Donoghue from Kilmurry McMahon, the founding director with Uplift, has told Clare FM that she is hopeful that won't be the case soon.
