The pride of Clare Greyhound Racing is a step closer to becoming just the 2nd ever dog to win the Irish and English Derbies.
2008 Irish Champion Shelbourne Aston won his 2nd round heat of the Blue Square English Derby at Wimbledon on Saturday night to advance to Round 3 Heat 2 this Saturday.

Owned by a syndicate, including Mullagh native and trainer Pat Curtin and Inagh’s Noel Hehir, Aston won by 3 lengths in a time of 28.73.
