Anthony Daly is believed to be endorsing some extreme measures to have his centre-back available for the Leinster Hurling Championship opener with Antrim on June 7th.

The Dublin Senior Hurling manager is expected to back Ronan Fallon’s plan to have a carbon footplate inserted into his boot to help cope with a broken metatarsal bone.

The Clare man oversaw a treatment programme for Fallon which included spending an hour a day in an oxygen chamber for the last 2 weeks.
