The Clare footballers are continuing preparations for the Munster Championships without their captain.
Conor Whelan has been ruled out of the Semi-final clash in 18 days time with the winners of this Sunday’s game between Limerick and Tipperary.

Under 21 Captain Gary Brennan is current vice-captain of the squad in a season where manager Frank Doherty has brought in a host of underage players to compensate for injuries to senior players as well as several others making themselves unavailable for selection.
