Clare teams for All-Ireland Qualifiers to be named this evening.

Clare Senior Hurling and Football Management will named their starting 15’s for this weekend’s Qualifiers after training this evening.

The Hurlers are in Cusack Park at 7pm where management will give their final assessment on the injuries to Pat Donnelan, Conor Cooney and Gerry O’Grady.

Vice-captain O’Grady has suffered a recurrence of an old injury but is hopeful of lining out against Galway.

Conor Cooney has only recently returned to full training while Pat Donnelan’s finger injury has fuelled debate about line up changes in the half-back or midfield areas.

The footballers train in Clareabbey at 7:30 after a good run out on Tuesday but concern lingers on a number of players who featured in the defeat to Limerick.

Goalkeeper Dermot O’Brien picked up a knock to his shoulder and is a potential doubt while full forward Timmy Ryan’s ankle injury continues to hamper his form.

Donegal are unchanged for what is their 6th consecutive championship game at home meaning there’s no place for the exiled former captain Neil Gallagher and Ciaran Bonner.

We’ll have live coverage of both games on Saturday evening with all the build up from 6:30, live commentary of the hurling from 7 as well as regular updates from the football in Ballybofey throughout the evening with thanks to the Auburn  Lodge  hotel, Ennis….Clare’s  Leading  Wedding  Venue!
