The Clare hurling panel last night met with 2 of the mediators appointed by the county board in a bid to resolve the current dispute with the team management
It’s understood the players voiced their grievences with the current Clare management to the independent mediators and that they wish Mike Mc Namara to vacate his position as Clare hurling boss.
A meeting with county board chairman Michael O Neill is now due to be arranged in the next 24 hours with a further meeting between the players and Mike Mc Namara also set to be held in the coming days.
