A decision on the future of the Clare hurling management is expected in the next number of days following a meeting between players and Mike Mc Namara last evening.
The full management and approximatly 20 players met in a hotel in Ennis where discussions between both parties took place over a number of hours.
The talks were the first held between members of the 2009 panel and backrom staff since Clare defeated Wexford this summer in a relegation play off match in July.
