Clare Team named for Waterford Crystal Cup Quarter Final Clash

Ger “Sparrow” O Loughlin has made four changes to the side that kicked off the Banner County’s season against WIT with Jonathan Clancy, Alan Markham, Mark Flaherty, and Michael Scanlon all coming into the team to face Tipperary in the Waterford Crystal Cup Quarter Final tonight.

O Loughlin has also made a number of switches with Martin Oige Murphy moving to Midfield and John Conlon going from half forward to centre forward with Fergal Lynch switching from Full forward to the wing while Aonghus O Brien moves to the corner.

The team in full for the clash at Borrisoleight at 7.30 are

Philip Brennan (Tulla) in goals,

Gerry O Grady (Crusheen), Cian Dillon (Crusheen) and Alan Brigdale (Crusheen)

Domhnall O’Donovan (Clonlara), Brian O’Connell (Wolfe Tones) and Pat Donnellan (O Callaghans Mills).

In midfield it’s Jonathan Clancy (Clarecastle) and Martin Oige Murphy (Cratloe)

The half forwards are Alan Markham (Kilmaley), Fergal Lynch (Clooney/Quin) with John Colon (Clonlara) in Centre forward,

And the full forward line consists of Mark Flaherty (Killanena), Michael Scanlon (Scarrif) and Aonghus O’Brien (Broadford).
