Micháel McDermott’s men play Offaly in Tullamore in round one of the qualifiers – Clare must win that game or the side’s summer will be over.
Clare will take to the field two weeks after the first round of the county championship this past weekend and the Clare manager was pleased with what he saw saying his former club were the "in- form" side.
