There’s been disappointment for Sarah Cunningham of Ennis in the first qualifying round for the British Ladies Amateur Championships.
The Ennis native shot a 15 over par round of 88 in Scarborough yesterday, leaving her nine shots off the cut mark.
Cunningham and the other 139 competitors will play a second qualifying round today, with the top 64 reaching the tournament’s knock-out stages.
