Crusheen have become the first side to reach the final of the 2010 Clare Senior Hurling Championship, beating Sixmilebridge in the semi-final on Saturday.
The match at Cusack Park was always a tight affair, with no more than one point between the sides for the vast majority of the sixty minutes.
However, it was Crusheen who held a slender 0-7 to 0-6 lead at half time, and they battled throughout the second half to hold onto that lead at the full time whistle.

The match finished 0-13 to 0-12.
Crusheen will now play either Cratloe or Clonlara in the final – their semi final will be held on Sunday, getting underway at 3:30.
Also on Saturday, Ruan reached their first Intermediate Championship Hurling Final with victory over Clarecastle.
