Liscannor and Doonbeg get ready for County final

The countdown is on for this Sunday’s county football final between Liscannor and Doonbeg in Cusack Park.

Both sides will be picking form a fully fit panel after both sides key injury concerns were passed fit for the match.

Doonbeg are seeking their 17th championship in their 27th final while Liscannor are searching for their maiden title win.

The Tipperary county board says the departure of  All Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy and his selectors Eamon O’Shea and Michael Ryan was amicable

The 3 stepped down this morning citing work and personal commitments as the reason

The  board have confirmed that a further two year term was offered to Sheedy and his selectors but the trio declined

In camogie news meanwhile  and Kilmaley and Newmarket meet this Saturday in the county senior camogie  final in Cusack Park.

Kilmaley are going for three in a row while Newmarket are aiming to avenge their defeat against the same opposition two years ago.
