The 2009 County Senior Champions will defend their title in the 2010 final.
That’s after Cratloe beat Clonlara in the replay of their semi-final at Cusack Park this afternoon in a final scoreline of 2-14 to 1-13.
Clonlara led by two points at the break – the 2008 champions were given an early boost when Darach Honan scored a goal for them but Cratloe fought back and scored a goal of their own through Cathal McInerney.
However that first half saw Clonlara play with the advantage of a strong wind and when the teams changed ends, so too did their fortunes.
Early in second half, McInerney scored another goal for Cratloe, while Conor McGrath scored eight points and that was enough for them to secure their spot in the final
They’ll play Crusheen in the decider next Sunday.
