Clare have booked their place in the McGrath cup final following a 1-10 to 10 point win over Waterford in Ardmore.
Clare trailed by 6 points to 5 at half time but a second half goal from David O Connor from the St. Bridgid’s club in Dublin helped secure the win.
The victory means Clare continue their unbeaten start to 2011 but manager Michael McDermott feels his side still have some improving to do
Clare will take on Kerry in next week’s final after the Munster champions defeated the All Ireland champions Cork by 2-11 to 1-11.

The game is due to take place under lights in Austin Stack park next Saturday at 7-30.
