Several Clare players will be involved with their college sides today on the opening day of the Fitzgibbon cup.
This years final is set to be palyed in WIT and the Waterford college begin their campaign today against UCD at 2pm with Newmarket’s Enda Barrett set to feature in their starting 15.
UL meanwhile will be hoping to get their campaign off to the perfect start when they take on Ucc also at 2pm,Brendan Bugler the Clare player set to feature for the Limerick college with Darach Honan hoping to make an apperance for the Leesiders having missed out on their Waterford Crystal cup defeat to Cork last Sunday
The final game of the opening day’s competiton sees St Pat’s meet UUJ
Holders NUIG dont get their campaign underway until tomorrow when they will take on CIT in Dangean at 1pm.
