Clare boss at a loss to explain sides’ red card troubles

Clare football boss Michael Mc Dermott has admitted he is confused as to how his side have had four players red carded  during this years national league campaign.

John Hayes and Mark Tubridy were both red carded during yesterday’s loss to Carlow while David Tubridy and Gordon Kelly received month long suspensions for their dismissals during the opening game of the league earlier tthis month in Leitrim.

Clare’s hopes of promotion are now hanging by a thread after their second loss of the campaign which sees them 3rd from bottom in divison four.

The Cavan man is at a loss to explain the sides current disciplinary  problems:

Clare led at half time despite being down to 14 men and having conceded an early goal to Darragh Foley.

Mc Dermott told Clare Fm that they confident at the break they would win the game
