The F.A.I could receive a significant financial boost from UEFA should they approve a central television rights system amongst the 53 member association today.
The agreements means that TV monies will be shared resulting in a possible 10 million euro a year deal from 2014.

At present countries negotiate deals on a individual basis, in Ireland’s current Euro qualifier group that’s a bad thing as TV rights money’s are far less from our current opponents than previous ones like Germany and Italy.
