There was wins for Tubber and Newmarket on the opening day of this year’s county senior hurling championship.
Newmarket blitzed Ballyea in Cusack Park by 4-15 to 0-11 while Tubber reecorded their second successive win over the 2009 champions by 3-12 to 2-14.
