O’Brien Mount Strikes Lucky At Dundalk

Kilmaley man Willie O’Brien was in Dundalk last night to see his horse, Keep It Cool, win at the track for the second time in a fortnight. O’Brien has had horses in training since 1971 but this is the first of his to win twice. Trained by Kilmallock man Pat O’Donnell and ridden by Fran Berry, the winner was returned a well-backed 5-2 second favourite. Keep It Cool was successful over hurdles at Killarney last year and could return over the smaller obstacles for his next run.
