Shannon swimmer Chris Bryan has moved to the top of European Open Water Swimming Cup rankings following a win in Turkey at the weekend.
Bryan won the 5k event in Antayla in a time of 58 minutes 41.04 seconds, just ahead of a competitor from Israel.
The cup runs until July, with three of the five legs remaining

Bryan, a member of Ennis Swimming Club, is now on course for selection to the World Swimming & Open Water Championships which take place in Shanghai next month, where he would become the first open water swimmer to represent Ireland at this level.
