In news of hurling, Crusheen beat Sixmilebridge 2-12 to 0-16 in last night’s Clare Cup encounter between the sides while The Tipperary Under-21 hurlers have got the defense of their All-Ireland title off to a winning start.

The Premier County beat Waterford by 4-12 (pr: four-12) to 1-16 (pr: one-16) in last nights Munster championship quarter-final at Semple Stadium to set-up a semi-final clash with Cork.

Meanwhile, in camogie Corofin are the Under 14B Champions after beating Eire Og 3-07 to 2-00.

Corofin went into the break with a 7 point lead, 2-04 to 1-00 and despite a stronger second half performance Eire Og were unable to get the better of Corofin, whose 3rd goal in the 60th minute wrapped up the match.

Tonight’s Under 14B Shield Final between Kilmaley and Feakle takes place at Ballyline, throwing in at 6:30 while Cusack Park is the venue for the Under 14 A Hurling final between Clarecastle and Wolfe Tones.
