There were wins for Doonbeg,Kilmurray Ibrickane,St Breckan’s,Wolfe tones and Cratloe on day one of the county senior football championship today.
Doonbeg beat lissycasey in the opeing game with a 1-13 to 3-5 win while Kilmurray ibrickane came from behind to outscore Kilmihil 1-9 to 0-09 also in Cooraclare.
Wolfe Tones,despite ending the game with 13 men beat Kilrush by 2-8 to 0-09 points while St breckan’s,last year’s intermediate champions began life in the top tier with a 3-11 to 1-10 win over Eire Og.

The final game of the afternoon saw Cratloe edge Shannon gaels by 2-9 to 2-7 in Cusack park.
