Chelsea may confirm the appointment of Andre Villas Boas today after revealing there interest in the former Porto manager.
The club say they are negotiating personal terms with the 33 year old and hope to make an announcement shortly.
Meanwhile, it’s understood Chris Hughton will be named Birmingham manager today.

The 52 year old was picked by acting Chairman Peter Pannu over Roberto Di Matteo and Gianfranco Zola.
The former Irish international has been out of work since being sacked by Newcastle in February.
