Clare involvement in the Irish Seniors’ Close competition has come to an end.
Ennis golf club member Valerie Hassett qualified for the quarter fianls of the plate competition after finishing 14th out of 46 competitors in the two opening qualifying rounds.
However, she lost her quarter final 2 and1 to Gertie McMullen of The Island Golf Club.
