The Airtricity League champions enjoyed a one-nil aggregate win over Flora Tallinn of Estonia after dominating their hosts in a scoreless second leg.
The victory means that Michael O’Neill’s side will now face FC Copenhagen in the next round, while also guaranteeing them a place in the Europa League qualifiers if they lose to the Danish club.
The result also earned Rovers an extra 220,000 euro in prize money.
