Dates for Round Three of Hurling Championship

 

And Round Three of the Senior Hurling Championship will take place the weekend after next.

At a meeting of the county board last night it was agreed that most of the games would be played on the 6th, 8th and 9th of August while the final one would be played on Monday the 15th.

The managers of both Clare sides remaining in this year’s All Ireland Championships are both predicting tough clashes as their teams prepare for their semi-final clashes with Galway.

In a seven-day period next month, the Banner will do battle with their nearest rivals on two occasions, firstly at Croke Park in the All Ireland Minor Semi-Final on August 7th

Clare are favourites to lift the All Ireland Minor Title this year, but having seen Galway’s comprehensive quarter-final win over Antrim, joint manager Donal Moloney is taking nothing for granted

Meanwhile, Clare’s intermediate hurlers will be in action against the Tribesmen on August 13th, and were given a boost this week when it was confirmed that match will be played at Cusack Park.
