Joint minor manager Donal Maloney feels the date for the minor hurling semi final should have been announced sooner in order to avoid the fixture backlog in the county senior championship.
Clare found out on Monday that they are to play Galway on the 7th of August which was a full two weks after their Munster final victory over Waterford.
Maloney is happy that they are playing in fortnights time but believes a decison should have been msde sooner:
