The manager of the Clare intermediates hurlers has dismissed any notion of pressure on his side, given that they mark the county’s last chance at securing an All Ireland title this year.

Kevin Kennedy’s team welcome Galway to Cusack Park this Saturday, with a spot in this year’s All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Final at stake – it would be the banner’s first time to reach this stage of the competition.

Hurling fans’ hopes are pinned to this team after the county’s minors loss to the Tribesmen at Croke Park, but Kennedy says that won’t make any difference this weekend

Clare FM will have live coverage of the match this Saturday, brought to you in association with  John Torphey Hurleys, Bellvoir.
