Clare’s two participants at a major handball tournament in the US have made winning starts.
Tulla’s Colin Corbett has beaten Darragh Lyons of Waterford in the Round of 16 clash at the 56th Annual USHA National Junior 4-Wall Championships, which are being held in Tuscon, Arizona.
He’s now through to the Quarter-Finals of the boys 15 and under grade, where he will play Ramunas Ramanauskas this evening Irish time.

Among those who will also be in Quarter-Final action this evening are Kilkishen’s Colin Crehan
He has reached the last eight of the Small Ball Boy’s Singles 17 and Under competition, after a win over Californian Mauricio Jimenez
Crehan will now take on Matthew Chu of New York.
