The European Tour has confirmed that Royal Portrush will host this year’s Irish Open.
Tour officials are holding a press conference at the County Antrim venue this afternoon, where they’ve also announced that Carton House in County Kildare will host next year’s tournament.

The Northern Ireland Executive is expected to provide around two and a half million euro of funding for this year’s competition, which is still without a title sponsor.
