The Clare Senior Footballers will play Cork next weekend in the first round of the McGrath cup after a 1-18 to 0-08 win over UL in Doonbeg.
At half time Clare led by 10 points to four with David Tubridy captaining the side and despite conceding a goal to the third level outfit towards the end of the game they still won by seven.

Michael Mc Dermott’s side must now play the 2010 All Ireland champions in Pairc Ui Rinn next Sunday
