Three Senior Inter county Sides will be in action this coming weekend with matches for the Senior Hurlers and Footballers as well as the Ladies Football side.
Noelle Comyn will make her début as Clare Senior Ladies Manager on Sunday in Doonbeg while the quest for promotion from Division Four of the National Football League begins for the Clare Senior mens side.
The Clare hurlers meet Limerick this Saturday night under lights in Sixmilebridge in the q-final of the Waterford Crystal cup.
The game comes less than three weeks before the Banner meet the same opposition in the league opener in the Gaelic Grounds.
On Sunday meanwhile the Clare senior footballers begin their national football league campaign with a home tie against Waterford.
Michael McDermott has a number of injury worries ahead of the game, with David Tubridy and Graham Kelly still struggling with injury.
Also on Sunday at 2 o’clock in Doonbeg, Noelle Comyn takes charge of the Clare Senior Side for the very first time when the Division Two league campaign begins against Waterford.
