Clare have got the perfect start to their national football league campiagn with a 1-17 to 0-12 win over Waterford.
Clare led at the break by 0-09 to 0-06 and extended their lead in the second half with Rory Donnelly’s goal
Clare ended the game with 14 men after Gordon kelly received a second yellow 18 minutes into the second half while Waterford had three men dismissed, Shane Ahearne Gary Hurney and substitute Joey Veale who lasted only two minutes before being red carded.
