Confidence high in Davy Fitz Camp ahead of Limerick Clash

Clare  Hurling Manager Davy Fitzgerald doesn’t believe his side have anything to fear ahead of this Saturday’s league opener with Limerick.

The former Clare goalkeeper has overseen an unbeaten start to the year guiding the county to the Waterford crystal final next month.

It is the second year in a row that Clare play Limerick in their opening league encounter and Fitzgerald admits that ideally the game would be later in the year :

Meanwhile,

Limerick Boss John Allen says his side will be much stronger from the starting 15 which lined out in the Waterford crystal earlier this month.

The ex all Ireland winning manager is hopeful of having a number of front-line players back in the side after college duty.

Allen told Clare FM that their season won’t be determined by Saturday’s result:

Clare FMs live commentary of this Saturdays game between Clare and Limerick is brought to you by Clare Fruit n Veg Market and Donie O’Keeffe Champion Meats, Turnpike road, Ennis.
