Clare Boss Davy fitzgerald has played down expectation following his sides 14 point win over Limerick last evening in the opening game of the national hurling league.
Clare romped to a 2-24 to 1-13 win over the hosts to open their account in Divison 1B.
Conor Mc Grath top scored with 1-10 while all the six starting forwards got on the scoresheet.
However speaking to Clare Fm after the game Fitzgerald wanted to play down the significance of the result :
