Former Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough has been appointed Sligo Rovers manager.
The 42 year old beat off competition from Willie Mc Stay, Dave Penny and Gerry Carr for the position and will take charge of his first game this Friday night when the Cup Champions meet Shelbourne in Tolka Park.

Baraclough replaces Pail Cook who left for league two aside Accrington Stanley.
