Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni says James Mc Carthy was not used in last nights 1-all draw with the Czech Republic because he is too young.
Speaking today Trap says he could not put the 21 year old into a game they were losing; the Italian added that he could not experiment because the game counted towards the FIFA rankings.
