Manchester City have banned a reporter for what they call "serious and cynical misrepresentation" of what club football Executive Patrick Vieira told the BBC in an interview.
In the piece Vieira said that referees favour Manchester United at home.
It comes just a week after the former Arsenal midfielder said the Reds showed desperation by bringing back Paul Scholes.
