Clare U21 manager calls for change to provincial system

Clare U21 football manager Colm Collins has called for a change in the way the provincial systems operate after their defeat to Cork last night.

Clare were beaten by 3-15 to 1-6 in Pairc Ui Rinn while Kerry overcame Waterford by 4-26 to 1-4 in Tralee.

The Cratloe man feels the provincial body needs to give weaker counties a better chance of success by changing the seeding system.

Clare only received two frees in the first half compared to Cork’s 12.

The U21 boss felt  Padraig O Sullivan didn’t do his side any favours but ultimately couldn’t be blamed for the loss
