McEnaney survives no confidence motion

Seamus McEnaney survived a motion of no confidence at last nights County Board meeting and will now remain in charge of the Meath footballers for their Leinster championship opener against Wicklow at Dr Cullen Park on May 27th.

Delegates voted 43 to 31 in Navan to remove McEnaney from the job but that was short of the two-thirds majority required.

The county board executive had recommended McEnaney would be removed with former manager, Sean Boylan taking over.
