It’s day 3 of the World Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield and Stephen Maguire has booked his place in the second round.
The Scot beat Belgian teenager Luca Brecel (pr: Bressel) by 10 frames to 5 to set up a second round clash with either Graeme Dott or Joe Perry.

Matthew Stevens is well on course to book his place in the next round – he’s raced into a 7-0 lead over Marco Fu.
Later this afternoon two former winners Ronnie O’Sullivan and Peter Ebdon go head to head.
