Shannon man Chris Bryan will be hoping to qualify for the Olympics this afternoon when he swims in the final qualifer in Portugal .
The Clare man,who is based at the high performance unit in Ul,needs to finish within the top nine swimmers if he is to compete at this summer’s games.

Last month he finished third at the European Open Water 10K Cup in Turkey in May and hopes are high he can qualify today for the London games.
