Newmarket on Fergus have suffered a devastating loss in the Munster senior club hurling semi final after a 1-10 to 0-10 loss to De la Salle of Waterford in Sixmilebridge this afternoon.
The game looked set for extra time before Johnny Keane rifled home a goal with the final puck of the game to seal their place in the provincial decider later this month

De La Salle led at the break by seven points to six and in a thrilling second half the sides matched each other point for point until the late late drama.
They will meet Thurles Sarsfields after they beat Sarsfields of Cork by 2-20 to 2-15 in the other Munster club semi final.
