Donegal’s Carl Mc Hugh scored as league two side Bradford beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Valley Parade in the League cup semi final first leg.
Nahki Wells and Northern Irelands’ Rory McArdle gave the Bantoms a 2-0 lead before Weimann halved the deficit however Mc Hugh made sure of victory with a goal in the 88th minute.

The two will meet in the second leg on January 22nd.
Mc Hugh says scoring made up for his error in the lead up to Villa’s goal.
