Former Limerick captain feels opening Mc Grath cup win for no Clare no better than training session

A former Limerick football captain believes Clare won’t have gained any significant advantage from their opening game in this year’s Mc Grath cup ahead of sunday’s q-final

Clare overcame LIT in Miltown last Sunday by 18 points while Maurice Horan’s side will make their 2013 debut this weekend in Foynes.
 
Tommy Stack feels Clare’s  win over the students will count for little ahead of facing Limerick on Sunday :

Three other Mc Grath cup q-finals are set to take place this weekend.

Kerry take on UCC in Killarney,Tipperary play Cork and Ul meet Waterford.

And Clare continue their preparations for Sunday’s q-final by playing the Limerick u21’s tonight in Ul at 8-15.
